ZIGGY KADOUR TAKES CHARGE AT NEWPORT POWER

  Following an extensive search and much interest in the role, the Newport Power Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Ziggy Kadour as our Senior Coach for Season 2018. Anthony Daniel, Club President, said “Ziggy was a standout applicant that ticked every box in terms of what we are seeking in a senior coach and will no doubt lead by example in creating a culture we desire at our Club.” Ziggy started his football career at Newport Power Auskick when he was 7 years old. Week two of Auskick is Saturday, 25 April – ANZAC DAY and the 100th anniversary of the landing on Gallipoli in 1915. Before Auskick commences on this day, we will remember Australians who served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. The spirit of Anzac, with its human qualities of courage, mateship and sacrifice, continues to have meaning and relevance for our sense of national identity.
